Preserve Shingle Creek Elementary, or tear it down?
The City of Minneapolis and its public school system are clashing over whether Shingle Creek Elementary School, 5034 Oliver Ave. N., should be considered for historic preservation. The abandoned school building, built in 1958, was featured in the Coen brothers film, “A Serious Man.”
